Public Notice Transparency

The Town of Apex is committed to operating an open, accessible and transparent town government. Many places refer to this as “Sunshine Rules”. Even now, all of our public documents are readily available from town departments.  Information about all public meetings and the business to be conducted is appropriately advertised and available from various town officials.  However, in this age of the Internet and digital technology, the Town will strive to make great amounts of information about town government more accessible through its website so as to increase the transparency of its commitment to open government.

This special section of the website entitled Transparency will highlight the basic information that responsible citizens would need to be informed concerning their town government.  The Transparency section is new and evolving.  The information presently contained focuses on the annual budget, financial information, planning documents, public meetings with their agendas and minutes and other matters of public record.  Further information, particularly as more documents become available in a user-friendly digital format, will be added to the presentation.
