
Fee Schedule:
Application for approval of Erosion Control Plan - $500.00 per disturbed acre (no maximum).
Round number of disturbed acres to the nearest 1/10. Fees to be paid upon plan submittal.
Performance Guarantee: $2,500 per disturbed acre in the form of a certified check, cash, or irrevocable letter of credit. The Performance Guarantee is due prior to the Town issuing a letter of soil erosion and sedimentation control plan approval.* Please contact Jean Weatherman at (919) 249-3394 prior to submitting the Performance Guarantee.
*Applicable for site plans approved on or after August 4, 2009.
Erosion Control:
Proper erosion control measures are required for every construction site in Town regardless of the project size, including single family residences. For sites exceeding 20,000 ft², an approved Erosion Control Plan is required in addition to a Land Disturbing Permit (Certificate of Compliance) and applicable fees.
