Apex EMS, Inc serving since 1971
Apex Emergency Medical Service is dedicated to providing paramedic level service to the Apex North Carolina community twenty-four hours a day, seven days a week, including holidays. We are staffed with 12 full-time employees, 25 part-time employees and 4 volunteers. We operate two 911 ambulances with our full-time and part-time employees and members. Originally founded in 1971 as Apex Rescue Squad, we no longer perform rescue and extrication duties but are focused on providing pre-hospital emergency care and transportation to the community.

Mission Statement
To perform service related to the preservation of human life and protection of property in time of emergency. To administer pre-hospital medical care to the citizens of Apex and the surrounding community.

Fleet and Facilities
Apex EMS is located at 315 West Williams Street (Hwy 55) in Apex, NC.
We also staff a paramedic-level ambulance at Cary Fire Department number 6 located 5 miles east of our main station on Hwy 1010. The fire department provides office space for administration and a bay for our vehicle. Kitchen and living quarters for our employees and volunteers are also available.
